About Tom McCune Art
I create art because I enjoy the imaginative world it allows me to enter. It means that I can express my thoughts and experiences in a visual manner that reflects what I perceive and think about. Sometimes emotions are rendered in a piece because of a personal, liturgical or political belief.
Inspiration comes from the world around me, personal as well as family experiences, and since I enjoy hunting and fly fishing, I also create art from my observations of nature. Sometimes my inspirations are expressed through realistic drawings and watercolor paintings, as well as abstracted perceptions of nature in oils and acrylics.
